Elm Tree Root + Amber Epoxy Bowl

This hand-turned bowl pairs elm tree root with amber epoxy, preserving the wood’s natural structure inside a warm, translucent field. From some angles, the root sections read like suspended fragments, with darker currents gathering around the edges and seams.

The form is clean and quietly sculptural, with a broad, open rim that pulls light into the interior. As the piece rotates, the embedded root shifts from graphic silhouette to fine grain detail, giving the bowl a sense of motion even while it sits still.

Place it where light can move through it: on a console, shelf, coffee table, or desk where it can function as a focal object and reward close looking. It can live beautifully on its own or alongside other natural materials like stone, linen, and warm woods.

Dimensions (W x H): 7.75 x 5 in.
