Driftwood + Swirling Epoxy Sculpture
This one-of-a-kind driftwood and epoxy sculpture pairs a slim, elongated base with a branching natural top that gives the piece a strong upward movement. The contrast is what holds the eye: dense, grounded form below, open and irregular lines above. Blue, red, yellow, and ochre epoxy gather into a layered body that feels atmospheric rather than flat, while the driftwood introduces a sharper organic edge.
It reads less like a vessel and more like an art object. The silhouette is narrow, vertical, and sculptural, with enough presence to stand on a console, pedestal, shelf, or entry table without needing surrounding clutter. From a distance, the shape is striking. Up close, the transitions between epoxy and exposed wood give it much of its character.
This is a piece for someone drawn to singular forms and natural tension between refinement and raw material. It carries the presence of wood art, but also the feel of a collected sculptural object meant to be lived with over time.
