Banksia Nut Vase

This Banksia nut vase has a presence that feels both ancient and otherworldly, like something shaped by time and then quietly refined. The form is hand-turned to preserve the Banksia pod’s naturally occurring openings, each one revealing depth, shadow, and the raw architecture of the material itself. The surface carries rich, earthy browns with darker contours around each aperture, creating a constellation-like pattern that shifts as you move around it.

In a space, it reads as sculptural decor first. Place it where light can reach it, near a window, on an entry console, or on an open shelf, and the perforations do what they are meant to do: catch highlights, deepen shadows, and create a sense of quiet motion. It pairs beautifully with stoneware, linen, warm woods, and darker metals, and it especially stands out against a light wall where the silhouette and texture can speak clearly. Striking on its own, and equally compelling as a small focal point within a curated vignette.

Dimensions (W x H): 2.5 x 4 in.
